This project derives its inspiration from the landscape surrounding the development. An existing stream which borders the site is re-imagined running under the corridor as a series of glass covered flowing rocky pools. This is counterpointed by geometric tile panels glazed in colors imported from the surrounding landscape. The environment is enhanced by an abstract branch design etched in the roof, which allows the corridor to be shot through with subtle shifting shadows. Some areas of the flooring are paved with stone integrating with the existing building. Finally the vista ends with an exterior pool and glazed panelled wall.

The project won a GIA Award with ARP Lorimer, architects.
