Marshall trained in ceramics (see images) and established an international exhibition record in that field with his work in many significant public and private collections. However he has been involved in architectural projects for a long time through his work with the Edward Marshall Trust . Since he received an award from the Scottish Arts Council to develop larger scale work he has been personally commissioned for a number of projects, some of which are posted on this site (download images here). This now forms the mainstay of his business. He usually work on a commission basis and designs and installs a site specific project for the client. Although this often involves a ceramic element he does not limit himself to one material as this site shows.
