Tiles for the top of an existing structure were made with the pupils of the primary school. The theme was based around found materials from their nature garden. Pupils collected leaves and rolled them into wet clay to create the tiles. We made 250 tiles in a day! Bull nosed quarry tiles framed the piece and the design was set in an 8*8 grid to enable games to be played on it (chess checkers ect.)
